Today I Choose

Today I choose love, because I know we’re all imperfectly perfect.
I choose kindness because I want the same in return.
I choose peace because there would be too much to worry about.

Today I choose patience, knowing that nothing that bothers me is here to stay.
I choose joy because I’m here.
I choose hope because I am one discovery and decision away from change.

Today I choose to smile because I just might make someone’s day. And if I don’t, at least I’ll feel better for it.
I choose to enjoy the process of work because its outcome bears my mark.
I choose not to dwell on my mistakes or be regretful. After all, a wrong choice is simply proof that greater choices abound.
